One credit equals one text character for standard voice models (Multilingual v2). So 10,000 credits converts to about 10,000 characters of text. At a typical speaking pace of 800-1,000 characters per minute, that is roughly 10 minutes of generated audio. Flash/Turbo models are discounted and cost 0.5 credits per character on some plans.
Instant voice cloning (available from the Starter plan) creates a voice clone in seconds from a short audio sample. It works well but can sound slightly artificial.
