Sorted by how long commission lasts, since that decides your income more than the rate does. Lifetime programs are at the top, one time programs at the bottom. Where a cell says not published, the program genuinely does not disclose that term anywhere on its own site, and I have left it blank rather than repeating a directory's guess.

03 · The term that decides your income
Lifetime, fixed window, or one time
Three programs can all advertise 20% and pay completely different amounts. Work an example. Take a $99 per month subscription and a customer who stays two years. A lifetime program pays 20% for all 24 months, about $475. A 12 month program stops at the anniversary, about $238. A one time program pays 20% of the first payment, about $20. Same headline rate, roughly a 24x spread.

The arithmetic above is a worked illustration of how each structure behaves, not a projection of your earnings. One time programs are not automatically worse: Semrush pays up to about $450 in a single commission, which beats twelve months of 20% on a cheap plan. The point is that you cannot compare programs on percentage alone.

High ticket AI affiliate programs
High ticket means a referral worth more than roughly $200. In the AI category that happens two different ways, and knowing which one you are chasing changes the content you should write.

Large single payouts
Semrush is the clearest example, paying flat commissions that run up to about $450 on Semrush One at the Platinum partner tier, and up to $350 on the SEO Toolkit. Surfer SEO pays 125% of the first month at its top volume tier, which on a Scale plan is a large single commission. Both pay once per customer, so income resets unless you keep publishing.

Percentage commission on expensive plans
Writesonic works the example on its own site: 20% recurring on the $399 per month Growth plan comes to roughly $957 to $1,197 per customer per year. GetResponse pays 40% to 60% for twelve months, ElevenLabs pays 22% on its Scale plan, and Jasper pays 25% to 30% on Business tiers. None of these have a large headline number, but the twelve month total clears the high ticket bar comfortably.

Milestone bounties stacked on top of commission
Several programs add flat payments at conversion milestones. Viktor adds $100 after your first conversion and $250 after five, on top of the percentage. Rytr adds $15 on activation, $30 at 250 referrals and $100 at 1,000. These are worth counting because they front load income while your recurring base is still small.
Worth noting what is not high ticket, because it is often sold as such: Descript pays a flat $25, and Rytr, Frase and Murf all sit at modest per payment amounts. Taskade and Systeme.io pay very high percentages but on lower priced plans, so they earn through retention rather than ticket size.

The best AI affiliate programs for beginners
Beginner friendly is not about the commission rate. It is about whether you can get approved without an existing audience, and whether the payout threshold is low enough that you actually see money in the first few months. On verified terms these are the ones that clear both bars.
Easiest to start with
- Systeme.io: no application at all, and a $30 threshold
- ElevenLabs: no stated gate, and the lowest threshold here at $5
- Writesonic: no traffic minimum, most approved within a day
- InVideo: describes itself as free to join and open to everyone
- Taskade: no stated approval criteria, $50 threshold
- Freepik: officially open to creators of all sizes
Skip these until you have traffic
- Semrush: requires 1,000 monthly unique visitors or about 1,000 followers
- Hostinger: requires 1,000 traffic or followers, then $100 and 3 conversions before payout
- HeyGen Social Creator: requires 5,000+ followers and excludes blog and SEO promotion
- Rytr: no audience gate, but $100 and two customers before any payout
- Frase: no audience gate, but a $100 threshold
- Descript: about a week of review and asks for audience details
The threshold trap is the one beginners underestimate. A $100 minimum on a program paying $20 per referral means four referrals before you see anything, and Hostinger stacks a conversion count on top of the cash minimum. A $5 threshold at ElevenLabs pays out on the first conversion.
06 · Do not waste your time
Closed, changed, or publishing nothing
These programs still appear on most best of lists. Some are shut to new applicants, and some publish no terms at all, which means the numbers you see quoted for them cannot be checked against anything.
Notion
Closed to new affiliatesNotion's own affiliate page states it is not currently accepting new affiliates. Historic terms of up to $50 per activated signup plus 20% of year one revenue are no longer joinable, so treat any list still recommending it as out of date.
Canva
Closed to new applicantsThe standalone affiliate program was replaced by the community based Empower Canvassador Program, which is not accepting applications, and existing affiliates were required to reapply. No Canva owned page currently states commission rates, so every Canva figure in circulation should be treated as stale.
Leonardo AI
No open program foundNo open affiliate program could be confirmed in July 2026. Leonardo was acquired by Canva, which is consistent with the program being folded into the same change. The site is behind a bot challenge, so this one is reported from secondary sources rather than an official page.
Copy.ai
No public termsThe affiliates, partners and affiliate-program URLs all return 404, and no Copy.ai owned page publishes commission terms. The widely repeated 45% for 12 months with a 60 day cookie could not be traced to Copy.ai, so it should not be relied on.
Anyword
No public termsThere is a FirstPromoter signup portal but no published terms anywhere on Anyword's site. Directory claims range across 20%, 30%, 40% and 45% recurring plus flat CPA figures, and they contradict each other, which is a good sign none of them are sourced.
Pictory
Terms not publishedPictory advertises up to 50% recurring but publishes no tier breakdown, cookie window or payout threshold, and the partner portal is a private campaign behind a login. The 9999 day cookie repeated by directories is a placeholder artefact rather than a real term.
Two more changes worth knowing. Podcastle rebranded to Async in February 2026 and moved to a 25% recurring in-house program, so the old Tapfiliate terms are dead. Descript migrated from LinkMink to PartnerStack and required existing affiliates to reapply.
07 · Check before you trust
Widely published figures that are wrong
Affiliate directories copy each other rather than reading the terms, so a single early error survives for years and gets redated annually. These are the ones that matter, because acting on them changes what you would earn or whether you get paid at all.
Jasper's cookie window is 45 days
Jasper's own affiliate legal terms say no commission is due unless the purchase happens within fourteen days of the first click. The 45 day figure appears on almost every affiliate directory, including pages dated 2026, and it contradicts the agreement you actually sign. This is the highest risk stale figure in the category.
InVideo pays 50% recurring for as long as the customer subscribes
InVideo's own page states commissions apply only to the first billing cycle and not to renewals. It is a one time payment of 50% on monthly plans or 25% on annual plans, which is a completely different business case from recurring.
Writesonic pays 30%
Writesonic's own affiliate page says 20% recurring. The 30% figure is directory consensus with no official source behind it.
Rytr pays out at $50
Rytr's own page sets the threshold at $100, and additionally requires more than one referred customer before any payout is released.
Hostinger pays recurring revenue share
Hostinger's affiliate FAQ states plainly that it does not pay commission on hosting renewals or upgrades. The revenue share framing refers to the size of the initial commission, not to recurring income.
HeyGen pays 20% for 12 months with a 60 day cookie
HeyGen runs two different programs. The one documented on its own site is the Social Creator Program at 35% for 3 months, requiring 5,000+ followers and expressly excluding blog and SEO promotion. A separate Rewardful program appears to exist but publishes no accessible terms, so the 20% figure cannot be confirmed.

A 20% lifetime commission on a $99 per month plan is about $19.80 per month per active customer, so ten retained customers is roughly $198 per month. Model it that way rather than trusting an income claim.

It matters most for expensive or considered purchases, where people research for weeks before subscribing. Jasper's 14 day window is unusually short and is widely misreported as 45 days, so check it against the legal terms rather than a directory.
Why do affiliate directories disagree about commission rates?
