Do ElevenLabs credits roll over to the next month?

ElevenLabs does let unused credits roll over, which is more generous than many AI tools. On an active paid subscription, credits you do not use carry forward for up to two months, meaning you can accumulate up to two extra months of quota on top of the current month. In practice your balance can reach at most three times your monthly allowance: this month's credits plus up to two months of rollover.

The conditions matter. Rollover only applies while you keep an active paid plan and do not downgrade or cancel; changing to a lower tier or ending the subscription forfeits the banked credits. So the rollover is a reward for staying subscribed, not a way to bank credits and then cancel.

This changes how you should think about plan sizing. Because a light month partly carries forward, you do not have to size your plan for your busiest possible month; sizing for your average, with the two-month buffer absorbing spikes, is often more economical. If you routinely hit the three-times ceiling and still run out, that is the signal to move up a tier rather than rely on rollover.

Combined with annual billing (which effectively gives two months free), the rollover makes ElevenLabs friendlier for creators whose output is uneven month to month, which is most of them.
