AI compresses the early, disposable stages of design, the wireframes, first mockups and boilerplate UI, so you spend more time on the judgment that matters. Define the user, the job and the constraints before generating anything. AI without a brief produces pretty, pointless screens.

Then list three usability risks in this design and what I should test with real users. Keep it specific enough that I could build a wireframe from it.

- Treating AI mockups as validated design. They are drafts; real users, not the AI, decide what works.
- Skipping accessibility. AI output frequently fails contrast, hierarchy and focus order, so check them.
- Generating screens with no brief, which produces polished layouts that solve no real user problem.

It can generate wireframes, mockups and even working UI code fast, which is great for first drafts and prototypes. It cannot do user research or make final design judgments, so validate directions with real users and refine by hand.
