The plan guidance distinguishes monthly allowance from accessible length per transcription. Pro and Business list up to five hours per recording, while the screen-and-audio capture guide lists a two-hour continuous recording limit for paid plans. Do not treat the five-hour transcription limit as a universal recording guarantee.
Decide whether you will import a file, capture computer audio, or use a meeting integration. Test that exact path, language setting, and destination format. A successful short import does not validate a long live meeting.

Understand the annual commitment
The checked Pro annual total is $97.99, presented as approximately $8.17 per month. Business displays $199.99 annually, approximately $16.67 per month, alongside a seat selector. Confirm the selected seats and final invoice; the displayed base is not a quote for your whole team.
Business's unlimited transcription label does not eliminate separate upload, summary, or per-recording limits. Translation and Notta Brain have additional offer details. List the functions you need and verify their allowances instead of assuming the base subscription covers every operation.
Compare monthly billing separately if you want a shorter commitment. Include review time in the decision: twenty one-hour meetings mean 1,200 source minutes, but that arithmetic says nothing about the number of corrections or usable summaries.

Test the transcript and the summary separately
Our proposed shared meeting test uses a fictional two-person project discussion. One speaker corrects a fourteen-thousand-dollar figure to a four-thousand-dollar testing budget. A launch date remains a proposal, vendor contact is explicitly declined, and one task has no assigned owner.
Compare the transcript against a human-checked reference from the actual audio, then inspect the summary. It should preserve the corrected budget, the negation, and the difference between an agreed task and an unapproved proposal. The script alone is not the reference if the recorded words differ.
Ask for decisions, actions with owners and deadlines, and unresolved questions. Missing information should stay unknown. Save the first output before making corrections so the evaluation does not hide initial errors.

For each action, check the owner, deadline, and supporting discussion. A summary that assigns an unowned task can create work nobody agreed to do. A proposed launch should remain a proposal until the recording contains approval.
Try an actual recipient's reading task: can they distinguish a decision, a blocker, and an open question without replaying everything? Preserve access to the original recording and transcript for verification. Review sharing permissions before distributing a real meeting record.
