AI Tools for Freight Brokers: 10 Picks for Quoting, Calls, Vetting and Rates
By Michael Okeje. Product details and pricing checked on each vendor's official website on November 4, 2026.
Short answer
Most brokerages get the fastest return from AI in four places: reading inbound emails to quote and build loads (Vooma, Drumkit, Augment), handling carrier calls and check calls (HappyRobot, Parade CoDriver), verifying carriers to stop fraud (Highway), and pricing lanes (DAT iQ RateView, Triumph Rate Intelligence, formerly Greenscreens). If you are a small brokerage choosing a system of record, Keelway and Tai TMS both publish their prices. Most of the others sell through demos, so expect a sales call before you see a number.

How we chose
We focused on tools built for freight brokerage work, with a clear official product page we could check. We grouped them by the job they do, because a broker rarely buys "AI" in the abstract; they buy faster quotes, fewer check calls, or less fraud. We did not run these tools on a live desk for this article. Every capability below comes from the vendor's own website, and we say when pricing is not published. Vendor performance claims are left out because we could not verify them independently.
Email quoting and load building
Inbound email is where most broker time goes: quote requests, tenders, rate confirmations and updates. These tools read that email and act on it.
1. Vooma
Vooma builds AI agents for brokers and carriers that help quote and build loads, schedule, cover and track, with the workflow unified in one platform. Its agents email, call, text and log into systems. Vooma's integrations page lists TMS connections including McLeod, Turvo, Aljex, Tai, Revenova and 3PL Systems; rating sources including DAT RateView, Triumph (Greenscreens), Truckstop and Sonar; carrier verification through Highway, RMIS and MyCarrierPackets; and communication tools including Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft Teams, Slack and RingCentral.
Pricing: not published. Book a demo. Best for: brokers who want one AI vendor across quoting, covering and tracking, connected to the TMS they already run.
2. Drumkit
Drumkit opens as a sidebar inside your email inbox, identifies loads, pulls in your other tools and suggests next steps. It covers quick quotes, load building, carrier procurement, scheduling, track and trace and smart autoreplies, and its team integrates with your TMS and internal tools.
Pricing: not published. Book an intro call. Best for: teams that want AI inside the inbox they already use, rather than a new screen.
3. Augment (Augie)
Augment's AI teammate, Augie, runs quoting, booking and status updates for freight brokerages, and also serves FTL, LTL and last-mile carriers, B2B distributors and private fleets. You build workflows from your SOPs in plain English, and Augie integrates across email, voice, messaging and ERP systems. Augment's site announces that Werner selected it to power AI-driven load building.
Pricing: not published. Book a demo. Best for: operations that want to encode their own SOPs rather than adopt a vendor's fixed workflow.
Voice agents for carrier calls and check calls
4. HappyRobot
HappyRobot builds AI agents for communication-heavy work across several industries, with a dedicated offering for freight brokers and 3PLs. For logistics it lists carrier sales and rate negotiation, appointment scheduling, check calls at every milestone with ETA logging and exception alerts, replies to email quote requests, and collecting PODs, BOLs and invoices before triggering billing. HappyRobot announced a Series C funding round on its homepage.
Pricing: not published. Book a demo. Best for: larger brokerages and 3PLs with enough call volume to justify an enterprise deployment.
5. Parade CoDriver
Parade is a capacity management platform for freight brokerages and 3PLs. Its CoDriver product answers inbound carrier calls and emails, qualifies the fit, captures quotes and syncs everything into Parade. Parade's homepage also announces Estimated Carrier Bid, which shows what carriers are asking for a lane in real time.
Pricing: not published. Request a demo. Best for: brokerages that want AI voice tied directly to carrier capacity data.
Carrier vetting and fraud prevention
6. Highway
Highway focuses on what it calls Carrier Identity: verifying a carrier's identity, authority, capability, insurance and driver participation before, during and after every load, instead of relying on one-time onboarding. Its product line includes Load Lock and Know Your Driver.
Pricing: not published. Get a demo. Best for: any brokerage where a single fraudulent load would hurt. Pair it with whichever automation tool you choose, since several, including Vooma, list Highway as an integration.
Rate intelligence
7. DAT iQ RateView
DAT iQ RateView shows current rates on any lane based on data contributed to DAT, with 13-month pricing histories per lane, rate forecasts, and average spot and contract rates paid by brokers and shippers.
Pricing: not published. Schedule a consultation. Best for: pricing desks that want the widely used industry benchmark.
8. Triumph Rate Intelligence (formerly Greenscreens)
Greenscreens is now part of Triumph, and its product is offered as Triumph Rate Intelligence. Triumph says it combines your historical load data with its verified market data and machine learning to produce short-term buy and sell price recommendations tailored to your business, with batch rate predictions, custom pricing rules and sales analytics.
Pricing: not published. Contact Triumph. Best for: brokers quoting high volumes of spot freight who want predictions tuned to their own buying power.
AI-ready TMS platforms with published pricing
9. Keelway
Keelway is an AI-native TMS for small brokerages. The core plan is $799 a month flat for brokers with 1 to 30 staff, with unlimited users, no setup fee, month-to-month terms and a 30-day free trial; annual billing saves 20%. It includes a load board, dispatch and carrier database, AI that reads inbound carrier emails and extracts rate, equipment and lane, authority and insurance checks, GPS tracking, invoicing and QuickBooks sync. Two add-ons are labeled early access: Fraud Shield at $199 a month and AI voice seats at $399 a month each. Keelway states that no brokerage runs its voice agent on a live desk yet, which is an unusually candid disclosure.
Best for: small brokerages that want a TMS and inbox AI in one product at a known price.
10. Tai TMS
Tai publishes four tiers for its freight broker TMS: Growth at $995 a month (2 staff logins, 200 included shipments), Premium at $2,465 (6 staff logins, 600 shipments), Premium+ at $4,595 (12 staff logins, 1,200 shipments) and Pro at $7,925 (25 staff logins, 2,500 shipments), plus enterprise options.
Best for: growing brokerages that want a mature TMS with predictable tiers, then layer AI tools such as Vooma on top through its integrations.
Where general AI assistants fit
You do not need a freight-specific tool for every task. ChatGPT or Claude can draft customer emails, summarize SOPs, and turn a shipper's messy RFP into a clean lane list, as long as you keep customer data handling in line with your company policy. Compare plans on our ChatGPT pricing and Claude pricing pages, and set rules first with our AI policy template for small business.
How to choose: a short buying checklist
- Start with your most expensive manual job. For most brokers that is email quoting or check calls. Buy one tool for that job first.
- Confirm the TMS integration in writing. Ask which TMS the tool reads from and writes to, and whether it is a native integration or a workaround.
- Keep humans on money and trust decisions. Let AI draft quotes and run check calls, but keep a person approving pricing exceptions and carrier selection.
- Layer fraud checks under automation. Faster booking without carrier verification just speeds up fraud. Ask whether the tool connects to Highway or a similar service.
- Pilot on a few lanes. Measure your own before-and-after numbers rather than relying on vendor case studies.

FAQ
What is the best AI tool for freight brokers?
It depends on the job. For email quoting and load building, look at Vooma, Drumkit or Augment. For carrier calls and check calls, HappyRobot or Parade CoDriver. For fraud prevention, Highway. For pricing, DAT iQ RateView or Triumph Rate Intelligence. Most brokerages combine two or three.
How much do AI tools for freight brokers cost?
Most freight AI vendors, including Vooma, HappyRobot, Parade, Highway, Drumkit and Augment, do not publish prices and quote after a demo. Keelway publishes a flat $799 a month TMS plan, and Tai TMS publishes tiers from $995 to $7,925 a month.
Can AI make check calls for freight brokers?
Yes. HappyRobot lists automated check calls at every milestone with ETA logging and exception alerts, and Parade CoDriver answers inbound carrier calls and captures quotes. Keep a person handling exceptions.
Does AI help prevent freight fraud?
Tools like Highway focus on verifying carrier identity, authority, insurance and driver participation throughout each load. Several automation tools integrate with carrier verification services, so automated booking still runs through your vetting rules.
Will AI replace freight brokers?
The tools on this page automate repetitive work such as data entry, status calls and first-pass quotes. Pricing judgment, carrier relationships, exceptions and customer accounts still need people.
What happened to Greenscreens.ai?
Greenscreens is now part of Triumph. Its rate product is offered as Triumph Rate Intelligence, and greenscreens.ai now redirects to Triumph's rates page.
