This is also the strongest defense against doorway pages. If ten pages differ only by a swapped profession or city name, they probably do not represent ten real jobs. Build the page where the decision genuinely changes, and use a hub or comparison page to handle the shared context.
05 - Earn the citation
Evidence makes a page safer to summarize
A source-ready page does more than attach a reference list to the bottom. It keeps the source close to the claim, states the source's scope, and separates facts from the editor's recommendation. If you say a product has a feature, link to the vendor's current documentation. If you compare prices, show the date, currency, plan assumptions, and what is excluded. If you report a test, describe the setup and what the test cannot establish.
Originality does not require a laboratory. It can be a transparent comparison matrix, a reproducible workflow, a set of prompts tested against defined inputs, a calculation, a failure analysis, or a decision rule that helps a reader choose. "We reviewed five tools" is not an original contribution until the page explains what was tested, what counted as success, what failed, and how readers can interpret the result.
Claim register
Copy every consequential factual claim into a table. Add source, date checked, scope, confidence, and the sentence that should be narrowed if the source is weaker than the draft.
Method note
For tests and comparisons, record inputs, account tier, model or feature version, date, evaluator, criteria, and known limitations. Readers can then judge whether the result transfers to their situation.

AI answers are personalized, change over time, and may use different retrieval paths. That makes a single before-and-after prompt a weak experiment. A better test starts with a fixed question set and a page version. Record the date, market, language, login state, tool or model shown, cited URLs, answer wording, and whether the citation actually supports the claim attributed to it.
Access test

08 - What I would reject
Tactics that sound precise but are not evidence-led
