Is using ChatGPT to study cheating?
Using it to explain concepts, generate practice questions and quiz you is legitimate studying, and often better than rereading notes. Using it to write assessed essays or complete work you are meant to produce yourself is cheating, and it also leaves you unprepared for the exam itself.
How do I use ChatGPT to actually remember things?
Make it test you rather than tell you. Ask it to quiz you one question at a time and to withhold the answer until you attempt it. This is called active recall, and it is one of the most evidence-backed study techniques. Passively reading AI explanations feels productive but builds far less memory.
Can ChatGPT make Anki flashcards from my notes?
